Permit Recovery & Stop-Work Order Resolution

Packages & Pricing

A professional permit-recovery and compliance-management service — not a loose collection of permit expenses. You’re investing in technical coordination, document preparation, contractor alignment, municipal navigation, correction management, and real risk reduction.

What You’re Paying For

From red tag to permit closeout.

Our objective is to help property owners move from an unresolved permit, correction notice, code-compliance issue, or stop-work order into a structured pathway toward approval, inspection, construction resumption, and permit closeout.

Every engagement is scoped to your property. Final pricing depends on the condition of the property, documentation already available, the municipality, project scope, the number of required revisions, and the involvement of licensed third-party professionals.

Choose Your Path

Four ways to get moving.

Most clients choose from three tiers, with an executive option for complex, time-sensitive projects. Package prices below show the estimated total project investment, including third-party and municipal allowances.

Package I

Permit Assessment & Compliance Roadmap

$3,500

Flat professional fee. Excludes surveys, engineering, drafting, submission & municipal fees.

Best for: owners who need professional direction before committing to a full recovery engagement.

Package II

Essential Permit Recovery
From

$12,500

Professional services $8,500 + third-party & municipal allowance $4,000–$6,500.
Best for: a straightforward correction, fence-compliance matter, or SWO with limited revisions.

★ Recommended

Package III

Comprehensive Stop-Work Order Resolution

From

$18,500

Professional services $12,500 + third-party & municipal allowance $6,000–$9,500.
Best for: projects needing revised drawings, surveys, contractor participation, multiple departments & inspections.

Package IV

Executive Permit Recovery & Project Relaunch

From

$27,000

Professional services $18,500 + third-party & municipal allowance $8,500–$14,000.
Best for: high-value, time-sensitive, or technically complex projects needing full administrative recovery.

Recommended for most cases: Package III (about $18,500–$22,000) offers the strongest balance of professional oversight, funding for revisions and inspections, and financial protection — without moving straight to the executive tier. Package I may be credited toward a higher tier if you move forward within 15 days.

How Our Pricing Works

Fair, disclosed, and capped.

A transparent model that protects you from surprise costs and unclear markups.

1

A fixed professional management fee for our coordination and oversight.

2

Municipal costs collected as a reimbursable reserve and billed at actual cost — unused funds credited or returned.

3

A disclosed 10–15% procurement & administration fee when we hire, schedule, manage, and quality-control outside consultants.

4

Every package includes a specified number of submissions, revisions, site visits, and correction cycles.

5

Corrective construction, variances, appeals, and legal matters are approved through separate change orders.

Payment Structure

Projects under $10,000

60% at engagement · 30% before submission · 10% at permit issuance / scope completion.

Projects $10,000–$25,000

50% at engagement · 25% on permit-ready package · 15% at submission · 10% at issuance.

Executive projects above $25,000

40% at engagement · 25% after survey & preliminary drawings · 20% at submission · 10% after corrections · 5% at closeout.

Third-party retainers, survey, engineer, and municipal fees are funded before the applicable service is ordered or submitted.

Good to Know

What every agreement protects.

i

No approval guarantee. We do not guarantee municipal approval, SWO release, or a specific approval date.

i

Fees reconciled to actual. Government fees are estimated allowances, reconciled against actual charges.

i

Design changes billed separately. Client-requested design changes aren’t municipal corrections and are billed separately.

i

Labor excluded. Construction labor and corrective work are excluded unless specifically listed.

i

Separate professional charges. Survey, engineering, architectural, inspection, and licensed-contractor charges are separate unless expressly included.

i

Capped cycles. Pricing includes only the stated number of correction and revision cycles.

i

Concealed conditions. Previously unreported construction may require additional services.

i

Acceleration ≠ guarantee. Priority handling speeds our administration, not the city’s review timeline.

Financial disclaimer: All figures are preliminary planning estimates, subject to verification after review of the property, municipal records, existing plans, any stop-work order, code-enforcement notices, and completed construction. Municipal, professional-consultant, and third-party expenses may change based on project valuation, jurisdictional requirements, property conditions, and the number of required review cycles. No representation is made that payment of these fees guarantees permit approval, release of a stop-work order, approval of previously completed work, or acceptance of any specific construction condition.

Questions

Pricing, plainly.

Have a posted notice in hand? Call 404-594-4798.

Are city permit fees included in the price?
No. Municipal and government fees are separate, pass-through costs collected by the city. We hold them as a reimbursable reserve and bill them at actual cost — unused funds are credited or returned after final reconciliation.
No. We do not guarantee municipal approval, release of a stop-work order, or a specific approval date. We manage the recovery process professionally to give your project the strongest possible path forward — the decision rests with the city.
For most stop-work order and permit-recovery cases, Package III — Comprehensive Stop-Work Order Resolution (about $18,500–$22,000) — offers the best balance of oversight, funding for revisions and inspections, and financial protection. We confirm the right fit at your consultation.
Each package includes a set number of correction and revision cycles. Additional cycles, client-requested design changes, variances, appeals, and corrective construction are handled through separate, clearly quoted change orders — so you always approve added costs before they’re incurred.
No. Payments are milestone-based, scaled to project size — for example, 50% at engagement, then portions at the permit-ready package, submission, and issuance. Third-party and municipal costs are funded before those specific services are ordered.
